You are a man. And as a man you deserve what is destined for all men – joy, pain, sadness and struggle. The nature of a person’s actions do not matter, as long as he acts as a warrior. If you really think that your spirit is wavering, you will simply have to align, purge, and make it perfect, because there is simply no other endeavor in our lives that is more worth the effort. To not work on aligning one’s spirit is to seek death, it is the same as not searching for anything at all, and in the end death will always reach us, no matter what.
To seek the perfection of the warrior spirit is the only endeavor worthy of our man/womanhood. The most difficult thing in this world is acquiring the will of a warrior. Being sad won’t get you anywhere, nor will complaining, finding justifications for this or that, believing that someone is always doing something to us is also useless. Nobody does anything to anybody, much less to a warrior.
Self-comiserating does not equate with the power. The disposition of a warrior requires self-control, and at the same time, requires that he surrender to it. You can push yourself beyond your limits, if you have the will for it. A warrior tempers his own will.
We need the will of a warrior for all our actions. If not, we become weak and ugly. The power does not exist in a life where this disposition is absent. A warrior is a hunter. He calculates everything. That is control. But, once he finishes his calculations, he acts. He surrenders. This is abandonment.
A warrior is not a leaf at the mercy of the wind. No one can push him, no one can obligate him to do things against himself or against that which he stands by. A warrior is prepared to survive and he survives in the best possible way.
A warrior can be wounded, but not offended. For a warrior, there is nothing offensive in the acts of his fellow men, as long as he is acting according to the correct willpower. The will of a warrior is not something easy to achieve. It is a revolution. To consider animals and our fellow men as all equals is a magnificent act of the warrior spirit. It takes power to do so. All who wish to follow in the footsteps of the warrior must first be rid of their feeling of self-importance.
