The next WDNA Fine Arts Concert features popular brazilian singer-guitarist, Chico Pinheiro for one single performance. Jazz times magazine refers to Pinheiro as “A young Chet Baker, with Luiz Bonfah chops and Marcos Valle’s aching sense of melody.” See why jazz experts worldwide are raving about Pinheiro as he steps into the spotlight for a dazzling concert. Singer and composer Glaucia Nahsser and her band will perform the opening set, providing a bit more of Brazilian delight.

The evening also features an art exhibition entitled, “After Yesterday…” by cuban-born visual artist, MANO. Known for his richly textured canvases and narrative collages exploring themes that deal with the trials of adolescence, family connections and the search for identity, MANO has developed a unique style dominated by faces. His interplay of colors on a myriad of surfaces, are a virtual invitation for the viewer to engage in a dialogue.
