An Endless Fight

We can always fail, this is true, but I believe that you are referring to something else. You want to find a way out. You want to have the freedom to fail and give up in your own terms. It’s too late for that. A warrior rests in the hands of power and his only liberty is to choose an impeccable life. There is no way to forge a victory or a defeat. Your reason may want you to fail completely, in an attempt to erase all of your being. But there is a countermeasure that will not allow you to declare a false victory or defeat. If you think you can escape to a shelter of failure, you’re crazy. Your body will put its guard up and will not let you follow such paths.

You’re in a terrible situation. It’s too late to retreat, but it’s also early to act. All we can do is witness. It’s a sad situation for a child who cannot return to the womb and cannot walk or act. The baby can only be present and hear the stories of tremendous feats that are told to him. You are now exactly at this point. You cannot return to the womb of your old world, but cannot yet act with power. For you, there is only to witness acts of power and listen to stories, tales of power. The double, dreaming body, the energy body, is one of those tales. You know this, and this is why your rationality is so impressed with it. You will be hitting your head against a wall later if you pretend to understand. All I can say about it, as an explanation, is that the double, although it is achieved through dreams, is very real.

There is no hypothetical sense when speaking of the world of men of knowledge. A man of knowledge cannot act with their counterparts in insulting terms, hypothetically or not. No one can plot against the safety and well-being of a man of knowledge. He sees, so he would take steps to avoid something of this nature. Thus, a man of knowledge has control without controlling anything.

A warrior is always prepared. Being a warrior is not just wanting to be one. It is rather an endless fight that goes on until the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, just as no one is born a rational being. We are what makes us one or the other.
